Yes. The concrete, paint, tile and brick calculators toggle between US imperial (feet, square feet, cubic yards, gallons) and metric (metres, square metres, cubic metres, litres). The roofing calculator uses US roofing squares, the industry standard for shingles.
How much waste should I add to a material estimate?
Sensible defaults are about 10% for concrete, brick and shingles, 10–15% for tile (more for diagonal or patterned layouts), and roughly 5% for paint. Every calculator lets you set the waste percentage. Ordering a little extra is almost always cheaper than a second delivery or a dye-lot mismatch.
